Introduction to the Series

In A Stepmother’s Märchen (also known as the The Fantasie of a Stepmother), a teenage girl becomes marchioness, immediately becomes a widow, and is expected to govern a powerful household while raising four stepchildren — one of whom is essentially her peer in age. After being mysteriously murdered, she then wakes up reincarnated as herself but seven years earlier, on the day of her husband’s funeral. Having retained the memories of her past life and taking advantage of her reincarnation as a second chance, Shuri sets out to redo the mistakes of her past and live more authentically to who she is.
